Register now for MAN Up Int’l Summit #2: Sharing Skills, Moving Forward

summit2 Hope to see you soon!

We – Mutual Aid Networks – are hosting a Skillshare Summit in Madison August 22-28 and think you have something important to offer.

We’ll be sharing skills in concrete and replicable ways, learning to use MAN project-management and resource-sharing software and infrastructure to make all of our efforts much better supported materially and technically, and holding in-depth discussions about how we can continue to support each other across time and distance. Please join us!

Skillshare topics include: TimeBank Youth Court, Citizen Carpentry, Hosting a Swap, Reinventing Your Personal Style (includes clothing repurposing!), Building a Savings Pool, Building a Care Economy, Creating a Community Response Team, and more!

Here’s a link to the schedule in progress.

We’ll be joined by some amazing organizers from St. Louis, Detroit, Jackson MS, Philadelphia and Allentown, San Francisco CA, Hull UK, and beyond (some online).

Here is the invitation for our Mutual Aid Network Skillshare Summit.

And last but certainly not least, register here.

You are more than welcome to forward this to anyone you think would be interested. Our target audience is people who have some experience with cooperative organizing efforts and very ready to take action to take things forward. People who are new to the topic are welcome, in the spirit of learning, and  supporting and participating in existing efforts.

I hope to see you soon!

Take care,
